Bring the children for a fun-filled and God-filled Sunday School class
The children who attend our Sunday School class range in age from three to twelve and we explore many facets of God and Jesus in activities designed to help children understand what can be very confusing concepts.
The great Bible stories like Noah and the Ark, Daniel and the Lion's Den and the Good Samaritan are explored not just as stories but as parables pertaining to what God wants us to learn and how God wants us to act with kindness and patience. Our classes are filled with laughter and the children learn very quickly that God loves them - no matter what! They learn the 10 Commandments and why they are important, they learn about why we pray, they learn the true blessings of Christmas and why we should give Thanks. They learn that Easter is about the greatest gift of all and although that gift doesn't involve eggs or candy, those fun childhood concepts are not taken away.
Children love to make things and craft projects accompany lessons very frequently as do games, puzzles and learning teamwork through games. The children put together art projects and presentations for the congregation and take great delight in those activities.
Our children are greatly valued as important members of our congregation and get very loving and individual attention from all the grownups who surround them each Sunday.
So come and bring your children and let them give it a try. We think they might really enjoy our "Easter Egg Room." Each child participating in Sunday School when the room was painted got to pick a color and each of their choices was used on a wall, a cupboard or a table. It is a decidedly bright and cheery atmosphere.

Fellowship follows Church and is a time to catch up and share
Fellowship follows Worship Service each Sunday and serves as a time for folks to visit, to update each other on what is going on in their lives, to discuss upcoming Church activities and, most especially, for folks to share their culinary skills. Each week one or two congregation members take care of refreshments for this time of sharing and everyone enjoys the taste adventure. Come and Enjoy some good country cooking!
